INSTALLATION
I collect all kinds of materials from daily life.
Especially love picking up sticks from the places I’ve visited—neighborhoods, forests, beaches…
I keep dried plants, flowers, and seeds from my garden.
I do felting, macrame, and knitting.
I bring these elements together to preserve memories: the time we spent together, the friend we lost.
I made installations which explore the harmony between the past and the presence, the nature and the human society, history and contemporary life by using wood sticks, plant seeds and fruit netting.
We are what we’ve used,
we are where we’ve been,
we are the time we’ve spent.
